At JPC, students come from a large number of schools and their stay with us is temporary. Therefore, we dp not expect parents and carers to have to go out and buy a whole new school uniform. It would, of course, be divisive to ask students to attend in their mainstream school uniform and, in some cases, this would undermine everything we are trying to achieve in helping our students return to education. Therefore, there is no uniform at JPC, although there is a dress code.
All students are free to be themselves, and we encourage individuality, so there are only a small number of rules regarding appropriate dress for school. These rules, however, are very strictly enforced and students will not be allowed to attend school if they arrive inappropriately dressed and refuse to change.
