Residential Trip to Conway

For Learning Beyond the Classroom, a group of students were taken to the Conway Centre Anglesey for 3 days of activities. The group took part in a range of activities designed to get them out their comfort zone in a controlled environment. They had the opportunity to take part in activities such as, Archery, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, and were put to the test with some team building activities based on challenging them mentally and physically to improve self-esteem. This residential was a great opportunity for our students to understand their level of resilience whilst building comradery between the group and offering an environment for new friendships to emerge. All students who attend have received some great experience from these activities that they can take with them post JPC.
